We are proud to introduce our new platform that will help connect our users not only with each other, but also with available apartments for rent in NYC.
Since we started Diggz we have solely focused on creating the best experience and tools to help you connect with others before starting the journey to find housing. While we have a large selection of users that list their vacant room for rent (that’s not changing), sometimes people prefer to settle into a new place of their own. But they often also need to find a roommate to make that happen. With our new apartments for rent platform, we are taking our services one step further and making that next phase of finding a place to live a part of our offering. With the new platform, you can now search through real available apartments in New York offered by our trusted agents and partners.
With this new service, you can not only browse through available apartments for rent, but also see who else is interested in those apartments and connect directly with them. Further, you can book an appointment to view an apartment you like directly online, choosing the day and time that fits your schedule (say goodbye to phone tag and email ping pong). Once you make an appointment, a trusted Diggz partner will meet or call you, show you the apartment and guide you through the rental process.
There is already a selection of available apartments for rent in Manhattan and Brooklyn to choose from, and we are continuelly onboarding more trusted partners and apartments onto the platform. Some of our partners already include real estate agents from Keller Williams, Compass, Oxford, as well as co-living companies such as Bungalow, June Homes, Padsplit and more. Our goal is to have as large of a selection of apartments you’d find on other rental sites such as StreetEasy or Trulia, if not more. We’ll showcase apartments that are designed for sharing among roommates, as well as diverse co-living options. And we will strive to have something for every budget and every location.
Currently the platform is available only to our New York users and we will roll it out to the other cities later on this year.
